Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Faseeh (فسيح), the marketplace app for iOS and Android and this website. By creating an account or using Faseeh you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Faseeh.

1. Who can use Faseeh

You must be at least 16 years old to use Faseeh. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it. Keep your sign-in details private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. One person may not run accounts to get around a suspension or a block.

3. Faseeh is a marketplace and not a party to your deal

Faseeh lets people publish listings and contact each other. We do not own, sell, inspect or deliver the items and services listed, and we do not handle payments or delivery. Any deal is made directly between buyer and seller, who are solely responsible for it: the item's condition, legality and description, the price, payment, and handover. We are not liable for any loss, damage or dispute arising from a transaction between users. Please read the safety tips on the support page before you meet anyone.

4. Your listings and content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you post. By posting it, you give Faseeh a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it (for example, resizing photos) for as long as it is on Faseeh, so that we can run and promote the service. You confirm that you have the right to post it, and that your listings are accurate and describe a real item or service you are able to offer.

5. Prohibited content and conduct

You may not post, sell or send anything that:

  • is illegal, or offers illegal goods or services — including weapons, ammunition and explosives, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items, or anything whose sale is restricted by law;
  • is fraudulent or misleading — fake listings, bait prices, items you do not have, or requests for advance payment you do not intend to honour;
  • is sexual or pornographic, or exploits or endangers children in any way;
  • is hateful, harassing, threatening or abusive, or incites violence;
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including posting another person's photos or personal details without permission;
  • is spam — duplicate listings, unrelated advertising, chain messages or bulk unsolicited messages;
  • contains malware, or tries to break, overload or scrape the service or access other people's accounts.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

6. Reporting and blocking

Every listing, user and chat message can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked so that they can no longer message you. We review reports and act on content that breaks these Terms. How to report and block is explained on the support page.

7. Our right to remove content and suspend accounts

We may, at our discretion and without notice, remove or hide any listing, message or other content, and restrict, suspend or permanently close any account, if we believe it breaks these Terms or the law, puts other users at risk, or harms Faseeh. Where the law requires it, we may also share information with the competent authorities.

8. Fees

Creating an account and posting listings on Faseeh is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will show the price clearly before you pay for anything.

9. No warranty and limits on our liability

Faseeh is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings and users are accurate or trustworthy. To the fullest extent the law allows, Faseeh is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from content posted by users or from transactions between users.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using Faseeh and delete your account at any time — see how to delete your account. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Faseeh after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
